HealthLink Utilization Management

HealthLink is pleased to announce the August 1 release of a new pre-certification list. Pre-certification is a component of HealthLink's Medical Management program. HealthLink pre-certifies as a recommendation to the employer/payor that a procedure or hospitalization meets medical necessity criteria. The new list, which is based on WellPoint medical policy and guidelines, focuses medical management resources on those services where they are most likely to have the greatest impact.
