TPAs frequently submit access fee payments to HealthLink on behalf of their self-funded group clients.
The payment amount is based on the active, current membership with HealthLink. Therefore, there should be correlation with the eligibility file.
Access fees vary due to:
- HealthLink product sold to the group (e.g. PPO versus Open Access).
- Business volume.
- Administrative costs associated with the block of business.
Monthly payments are submitted by fifteen days following the close of the prior month to HealthLink's lockbox:

The payment detail (i.e. number of groups and subscribers by group and grand totals) should be sent with the payment to the lockbox at the address above.
Payors interested in submitting payment via wire transfer need to contact HealthLink's Finance department and provide the following information: company from which the payment will be received, the group or groups to which the payment should be applied (including the payor's group number for each) and indicate for which month payment is being made. Payment details are sent to HealthLink to correspond with the wire transfer payment.
