Welcome to the State of Illinois home page for the HealthLink Open Access network program! HealthLink is pleased to be selected by the State of Illinois as one of your health network options for 2008-2009. As a State of Illinois plan participant using HealthLink Open Access network, you have more freedom, fewer restrictions and a broad network of participating physicians, hospitals and other health care professionals to choose from.

HealthLink is proud to offer the following member access to an extensive suite of health promotion and wellness information. These programs are designed to evaluate your lifestyle for better, healthier living. Your options are listed under the HealthLink Signature Services, HealthLink Wellness Plus and HealthLink Personal Care Resources. HealthLink Signature Services

Medical Management
Phone lines open from 8:00am - to 5:00pm CST each business day. Certain services (listed in your benefit booklet) require prior authorization from your physician in consultation with HealthLink Medical Management in order to be eligible benefits.

MedCall ®
MedCall offers 24-hour access to nurse counselors via a health information phone line, an audio health library of more than 300+recorded health messages. MedCall enhances the patient/physician relationship through enrollee education and health awareness. Contact your benefit administrator for information to access MedCall.

HealthLink Wellness Plus Services

Lifestyle Management
Effective, July 1, 2008 members can login to the left for engaging on-line support programs to help you in the areas of:

  • Tobacco Cessation*
  • Weight Management
  • Stress Management
  • Physical Activity
  • Diet/Nutrition
* The Tobacco component of this program includes one-on-one telephonic coaching to provide you with the extra motivation and support you need. All other components include engaging on-line programs.

SpecialOffers
With SpecialOffers members can receive discounts on products and services that help promote better health and well-being at no extra cost to the client or the member.

Please Note: The SpecialOffers on-line discount program does not supersede benefit options outlined in your health plan. The program is intended to provide additional discounts for a variety of health and wellness related services.
