Telephonic Case Management
CompManagement's telephonic case managers help to establish an injured workers' most appropriate course of treatment - and his or her timely return to work. CompManagement's staff of medical and administrative specialists communicates with the patient, participating physician or facility, and benefit administrator during the various stages of recovery, with full documentation of each case.

Guided Referral Authorization
Guided Referral Authorization helps ensure CompManagement patients are sent to participating specialists and CompManagement may provide coordination and follow-up throughout treatment.

Claim Coordination and 24-Hour Preprocessing
"24-Hour Preprocessing" means HealthLink automatically identifies any claims duplicated between HealthLink's Group Medical and Workers' Compensation pricing systems. This electronic interface reduces the possibility of paying twice for the same episode of medical care and ensures funds for payment come from the proper source. This system helps reduce error and promotes timely resolution of payment disputes for clients who use both CompManagement and HealthLink PPO networks.

Client Management Reports
CompManagement reports provide clear, meaningful documentation of Workers' Compensation cases at every stage of treatment and rehabilitation until a case is closed. Reports also provide documentation on network usage and charges, as well as total network savings.

Q. How do I report a Workers' Compensation claim after the employee receives medical attention?
A. Mail the original First Report of Injury to your insurance carrier/payor. Mail a copy of the First Report of Injury to CompManagement from HealthLink as soon as possible.
